Service Design & User Research Manager
Amateur fire eater, curious design manager, sleep-deprived father
Since my father and grandfather were carpenters, I learnt about how quality products are built early in life. During my teenage years, I spent most of the time with a guitar, and becoming a designer felt very natural: merging the creative process and teamwork band experience with building quality products. Coming to Cisco from startups and consultancies in 2012, the biggest surprise was how design-minded the entire research & development department in Oslo was, and that is why Cisco is still such a great place to work as a designer and researcher – it never gets old.
